Love gardening and growing from seed. Live in a mad house but its fun most of the time :) I work from home and hubby is a hgv driver. Im a cancer survivor of 5 years now i had womb cancer which lead to a hystorectomy but thanks to some wonderful doctors im fine now. Loving learning to quilt as i have always wanted to make a quilt, having done an adult learning course and been bored ridged im now with a great group and brilliant patient teacher :)

Finished the Tulip quilt topper just need to get it quilted now.

Productive day but tinged with sadness
I have now got my head around the shoo fly blocks on the vignette quilt and have done 2 sets of 7 at last !!!
Also made a start on the stitching for block one as i decided to do it all in one piece, should have it done this weekend yayyyyyyyy!!
Sad day as my beautiful sister died 7 years ago today after her brave fight with cancer :( Miss you Pat xxxx

Finished my first small quilt !!!
Ok not earth shattering but this has taken me hours as i hand quilted it and its a long way round an elephants bum LOL!
This will be off to my Nephews wife who is due to have a little girl any day and they wanted a jungle theme :)
